'American Idol' Alex Lambert News Update

Alex Lambert entered your homes on "American Idol" last season, but now he's homeless.
If we're to believe the unverified "TrueAlexLambert" is indeed the mullet-sporting Texas crooner, he's fallen on some pretty hard times after appearing on the web series 'If I Can Dream,' which was created by 'Idol' executive producer Simon Fuller.
"Ever since IICD ended I've been kinda homless! Sleepin on the street and behind buildings. I have a choice to stay and persue my career or go," tweeted @TrueAlexLambert.
Lambert, who went on to star in Simon Fuller’s viral reality series If I Can Dream, about struggling actors, models and musician working toward the big break in Los Angeles. Once the show ended, though, Alex found himself jobless and looking for a place to live.
"I have places to stay. I just don't want to be a burden on anyone!" he wrote. "I have money! And soon I will have a place to stay! I just wanted to let y'all know! I'm not some rich spoiled kid! That I've had to hustle and grind, and I don't mind sleepin' on the street, as long as I get my chance!"
Lambert made it to the Top 16 round of "Idol," before being eliminated last spring. He is said to be working on a debut album.
